What an eventful couple of months it has been so far!
The past few years—2023, 2024, and now 2025—have shown us that humanity could have done better. We could have done better on so many fronts: as nations, as provinces, as cities, as towns, as suburbs, as communities, as bosses, as employees, as politicians, as corporations, as small businesses, as neighbours, as friends, as husbands, wives, children, and grandchildren.
And today, this truth has never been more evident.
When we look at the world, how many of us can truly say we feel proud of what we see? How many of us can say we are proud to be human?
As an animal lover, I often observe my pets and the wildlife around me. I see birds, zebras, and countless other species working together, living in harmony, even in the harshest conditions. In the wild, survival is a constant struggle, yet these animals look out for one another. Zebras, for example, protect each other when threatened by predators. Their primary fight is for food—a basic necessity.
Yet, we, the so-called superior species, are constantly at war with one another. And for what?
Is it for power? Money? Control? Is it about certain groups believing they are superior to others? What is all this fighting really about?
We have lived through a global health crisis, where “they” told us we were fighting an invisible enemy—COVID-19. Then came the rush to vaccinate the world. Now, there are concerns about population control, sterilization, and the idea that certain groups of people are procreating “too quickly” and need to be erased.
And now, the world is at war—again.
Russia and Ukraine have been locked in conflict, fighting over land, resources, and political power. Then came the war between Israel and Palestine in 2023, with devastating consequences. The U.S. continues to flex its political and military power, issuing commands like a dominant wolf, while China expands its global influence by flooding the market with cheap goods—often at the expense of exploited labourers. Meanwhile, Russia sits comfortably, rich in oil and natural resources—the very things most wars are fought over.
It’s no coincidence that the countries under constant military attack are those rich in oil, minerals, and other valuable resources.
And what about Africa? A continent abundant in natural wealth, yet continuously ravaged by poverty, corruption, and ethnic conflicts. Many of these conflicts are fuelled by foreign interests eager to plunder Africa’s resources.
But at what cost?
What is the true price of these natural resources—not in rands or dollars, but in human lives?
How many more people must die so that others can have more wealth, more power, and more things they don’t even need?
Isn’t the price already too high?
And what does this have to do with a real estate company like Nimsay Real Estate?
Well, I sell property because, as humans, we all have a need for security—a place to call our own, where we feel safe and in control. That’s what homeownership is all about.
Of course, we must adhere to the laws of the land to avoid chaos, but within those boundaries, I want to give you the opportunity to own your own home, to upgrade when the time is right, and to build wealth through property.
Because real estate is one of the few investments where, with the right deal, you can make R50,000 to hundreds of thousands of rands—without spending a cent out of pocket.
Use my services, and let me show you the tricks of the trade. But remember: always reach for the stars while keeping your feet firmly on the ground.
Call me NOW on 084 517 5033 if you’re looking to upgrade or liquidate your property. I have a proven track record of securing top prices for my clients.
For houses for sale in Cape Town, flats for sale in Cape Town, and commercial properties for sale in Cape Town, there’s only one real estate agency that looks beyond the here and now—Nimsay Real Estate.
Wow, 2025—you’re moving too fast!
